Indio Gigante

We received our Indio Gigantes directly from Greenfire Farms within the first 2 months of their sales opening. Since then, we have been breeding our Indio Gigante in a spiral program focusing on straight toes, correct comb (cushion or small pea), dewlap instead of wattles, with nice yellow shanks, strong joints, superior size (for the GFF line), and good disease resistance. Starting later this spring we will be introducing (up and coming) roosters sourced directly from Rare Rooster Acres over our Greenfire hens. Late Spring to early Summer we may be able to offer pure RRA line Indio Gigante in a separate listing (once those hens start laying, so keep an eye out!). These birds are very impressive. They lay a medium sized pink to tan (sometimes speckled) egg. Their temperament has been good, and they range well with the Liege Fighters until maturity. Our eye is for optimal health and composition while ensuring the breed remains true in spirit, and which will ultimately result in a unique World's End bloodline of these massive birds based on our pursuit for perfection.
